Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist
Op. Dr. İlker Zan, as a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist, has been working for many years in the field of vascular diseases, particularly in phlebology (varicose veins and venous disorders). In 2019, he established the Dr. Zan Varicose Clinic in Alanya, introducing minimally invasive varicose vein treatments to the region. Since 2025, he has been continuing his services at his new clinic in Antalya.

Education and Career Background
After completing his medical education at Gaziantep University between 1995–2001, Dr. İlker Zan began his professional career in 2001 as a Physician and Health Group Director at Ardahan Hanak Central Health Center. Later, in 2003, he worked at the Eskişehir Tuberculosis Control Association VERTA Medical Center.
In 2005, he continued his specialization training at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine Hospital and gained further experience in cardiovascular surgery at Mengücek Gazi Training and Research Hospital in 2011.
He worked at Private Antakya Academy Hospital in 2013 and at Başkent University Alanya Application and Research Center in 2018. In 2019, he founded his own clinic and began providing independent medical services.
Specialization and Treatment Approach
Since 2011, Op. Dr. İlker Zan has been performing minimally invasive varicose vein treatments and is one of the pioneering physicians in the field of phlebology in Turkey. He always approaches his patients with trust-based, personalized, and ethically grounded medical care.
Dr. Zan emphasizes that varicose veins are not merely a cosmetic concern but a serious health issue and provides each patient with treatment options based on the latest scientific methods.
