CLaCS Treatment

CLaCS treatment is a modern method in which capillary varicose veins and aesthetic vascular problems are treated with a combination of laser and sclerotherapy. This technique collapses the vessel wall by applying laser energy simultaneously while injecting into the vein.
Known as laser-assisted sclerotherapy, CLaCS provides effective results especially for fine vascular cracks on the legs. The thermal effect of the laser reduces the appearance of veins, while the injection ensures permanent closure and optimizes cosmetic outcomes.
The CLaCS treatment, which integrates cooling and imaging systems, offers a comfortable process with minimal pain and bruising. Thanks to the imaging device, the vessels to be treated are clearly identified, increasing precision and reducing the risk of complications.
The recovery process after CLaCS treatment is usually short, and patients can return to their social lives the same day. The recommended protective measures after the procedure enhance effectiveness and help prevent new vein formation. The use of compression stockings is generally not required after CLaCS treatment.

CLaCS Treatment (Cryo-Laser and Cryo-Sclerotherapy) is a modern, minimally invasive method used especially for the treatment of capillary veins and small varicose veins. In this technique, cooling (cryo), laser, and subsequent sclerotherapy are combined. However, the agent used in sclerotherapy differs. While the laser targets and shrinks the veins, sclerotherapy completely closes them. This method provides effective results and a short recovery time. It is often preferred by patients with aesthetic concerns.
CLaCS treatment is a varicose vein treatment method applied in stages by combining different techniques. Each stage aims to effectively eliminate the vein and increase patient comfort:
CLaCS treatment is generally used for capillary varicose veins, reticular veins, and small superficial varicose veins. This method permanently closes the target vein by combining laser and sclerotherapy.
During the treatment, the vessel wall is weakened by laser energy, followed by injection of the sclerosing agent. The number of sessions usually ranges from 1 to 3, depending on vein density.
CLaCS closes the veins without surgical incisions or needle marks. It is more advantageous cosmetically and has a shorter recovery period. In addition, vein mapping allows for more precise targeting.
Mild redness or bruising may occur after treatment, but it usually disappears within a few days. The risk of scarring is very low because the procedure is minimally invasive.
Most patients can return to normal activities on the same day. It is recommended to avoid intense exercise for a few days, but no rest period is required.
CLaCS is an effective option for small varicose veins that develop after childbirth. However, it is preferable to perform it after hormonal balance is restored.
The treated veins close permanently, but new veins may form. Therefore, a healthy lifestyle and regular follow-up are important to prevent recurrence.
Side effects are usually mild and temporary. Temporary skin discoloration, mild swelling, or tingling may occur. Rarely, small veins may reopen.
Avoid sun exposure before treatment and inform your doctor if you are taking blood thinners. The skin should not have any infections or open wounds.
After the procedure, legs should occasionally be elevated for a few days, tight clothing should be avoided, and compression stockings may be used if necessary. Protecting from sunlight prevents skin discoloration.
